John A. simpson was my GGG grandfather who left MO. to serve in the War Between the States in approx. 1861 in Randolph Co., AR. His brother served in Company G from MO. If is supposed that he also served with Company G. Can someone please give me some information about which Co. he actually served with? John A. married Margaret Cherry from MO. When he died in Randolph Co., AR. 1865, she returned with her children to live with family in MO.
