I have found a Civil War pension application entry for Tyra D. Meadow/Mary F. filed 1868 July 27 App#163398. Tyra listed in Militia Regiment 47, company H. Tyra D. Meadow/Meadows/Meader/Medder (lots of misspellings for Meadors) died 03 Jan 1863. He lived in Hickory/Dallas Co, Missouri area. Wondering if he died in the Civil War. Can anyone help? I am researching all Meadors/Meadows/Meadow/Meader/Medder and any misspellings of the name.

There is another Meadors- probably his brother - James H.(Harvey) Meadder - Reg 6 Missouri Calvary - Union Company D. James did come back from the war as a Corporal. James/Harvery died 1884 in Hickory Co, MO. Sometimes listed as George H. Meador.

Was wondering if there is any information on these guys. I am trying to connect them as brothers. I have read of the reunions - where would I find these in a book?
