Well, I'll try, but you tied my hands by not telling me these men's county of record and approximate time of capture. I found nothing on B. J. Collins. Bear in mind that 1) these National Archive POW records are incomplete or hit-or-miss, and 2) all militaries tended to misspell men's names badly before the U.S. Army and other world armies began to use professional, dedicated adjutant general services to keep such records straight. (And please, please don't tell my Army buddies that I actually praised the AG Corps, but I have to give credit where credit is due.) Also, Collins was a common name back then, so there a lots of POW entries for that surname.

That being said, I found the prison ledge for a James Collins from Butler County in SE MO and one for a James M. Collins from Macon County in NE MO. Any one of those your's?
