Thanks much John!!!
Thompson had a son named Fielding... Also, Martha Ann Yager's (Thompson's wife) father's name was Fielding Yager, but he died Jun 02, 1867and is buried at Madisonville Cemetery, Ralls County, Missouri... I don't know whom Mallie is!
Martha died Mar 20, 1918 and Thompson died Jul 02, 1918. I've never been to the cemetery! Nor do I know who might be buried there! I am delighted that Thompson has a CSA marker! I do know where Vandalia is and have driven through it on past occasions. To get there from here, I would have to leave Huntsville, pass through Moberly, pass by Sturgeon and drive through Centralia. I'd be traveling east on 22. Lots of Civil War history in the surrounding area! I've seen the railroad bridge that Anderson partially burned at Salt River. Monroe City, in Monroe County had an interesting Civil War battle! I've lived a Palmyra too... I've been to Florida a few times!
