Price's regt

Thanks in advance for anyone who can point me in the right direction. I am searching for a William F Coleman who may have served with Mo Confederacy and was present at Wilson's Creek, may have been taken prisoner at Alton, Ill and eventually traveled with Gen Price to New Mexico. These pieces of information come to us through family history. Looking to find his name on a roster somewhere - have been unable to do that. He also went by William Coleman and William Colman. Seems to have had experience in railroads and did work on some for a while. Any help in helping me track down this elusive gentleman, most grateful. After the war, Mr. Coleman resided in Moniteau Co. We beleive that at outbreak of war, he was near Kansas City.
