Thanks, Elmer, I didn't check the Missouri SOS site...still don't understand why Finas would have been killed by Union soldiers, esp if he was enrolled in the EMM, but I suppose that enrolling was required and doesn't necessarily mean that he was a Union man. Unless this is Finas the son of Finas? Can't really tell.
