Ms. Hart,

If you are still seeking information on a doctor that may have been active on either side during the War for Southern Independence, you may want to contact the Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, Maryland. They have an extensive data base on any doctor they can find that participated in the war. I have an ancestor that was a doctor in the CSA Medical Dept. and I submitted about 50 pages I had on him. They have others that also submit material to their data base. Just a thought of where you can look.
