Capture of the Guerrilla Poindexter
St. Joseph, Mo., Tuesday, Sept. 2
Poindexter, the notorious leader of Guerrilla bands in Missouri, was caught last night twenty miles from Hudson, on the Hannibal and Missouri Railroad, while asleep in a house.
Poindexter has since been condemned as a spy and will suffer death.
