I have copy of the roster of Company I, 46th regiment, Missouri volunteer infantry. It appears many of the volunteers enlisted at Springfield, MO in September 1864 and it is noted that John Hutchinson enlisted on 09 September 1864. He reported he was 18 years of age, enlisted at Mt. Lebanon and was born in Granger County, TN. There is also an older Hutchinson, Noel, age 45 born in Pittsylvania, VA. The roster in a book written by Bessie Sellick about the History of Douglas County, MO. I have not noted any activities of this particular unit as my focus is on Company H.
