I was interested in this discussion and wondered if you could help me out. I have a Price Alexander Crow, a Union soldier 3rd Sgt. in 10th MO Cavalry, Co. B that died July 21, 1864 at Skiffer's Landing, Mississippi when a steamship sank. I was wondering if you could tell me what the name of the ship was and the circumstances of how it sank?
