Thank you Bruce for the kind words. Donald Hale came out with Branded as Rebels Vol. II after my book, The Encyclopedia of Quantrill's Guerrillas. In his book he states that "Tuck" Tucker Hill was named Francis Marion Hill. In a February 17, 1916 newspaper, "Fort Worth Star-Telegram" it states that Captuck Tuck Hill and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in McKinney Texas. So this seems to verify that Tuck or Tucker Hill and Francis Marion Hill may be the same person.

Every thing I came across at the time of my book just referred to him as Tuck or Tucker.
