In Response To: Capt Hill - Quantrill ()

FM Hill is on the Collin Co TX census from 1970-1920, as follows:
1870 Frank Hill, 27, and female Quintilla, age 27, assumed to be his wife
1880 FM Hill, 37, Wife MQ 37
1900 Tuck Hill, 57 as indexed, but I did not find him on the page indicated.
1910 FM (Tuck) Hill, 67 Wife MQ, 66
1920 Francis M Hill, 76, wife Mary
I am aware that not everyone uses the census records because they are known to have flaws, but they are a very valuable tool to help identify a family group at a given time in history. Which was never their intended purpose, the fundamental and original purpose of the census in the United States was to provide data for reapportionment of the U.S. House of Representatives.
