I am looking for some information. I have a ggguncle who was in the Union Army Missouri 29th Company I.....his name was Samuel Lance. He was mortally wounded in the right leg at Chickasaw Bluffs on Dec 29, 1862 but did not die until Jan 23, 1863. My question is this, does anyone know where he could have been buried. I realize that this was a very hot spot of fighting, but any quess would help. Elaine
