The Missouri in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Lt. George B. Miller, Co H, 1st Mo Cav

Gentlemen,

I do apologize for my lack of response. For some strange reason, I could not fully access this board until today; hence, I could not respond.

My interest is, Lt Miller was stationed and killed in the part of Southwest Missouri where my husband's ancestors lived during the Civil War. Since Lt. Miller came up in the Provost Marshall's Index in the Missouri Archives (Barry Co.), I thought I would try and find his family to see if they might have the story of his death. I haven't had any luck finding him in 1860 since his card at the Missouri Archives doesn't give any personal information.

I do appreciate the thread of discussions on Lt. Miller and also appreciate the time spent on research by all. If I discover who he was, I will surely post the information.

Regards,

Sharolyn
