The one in Johnson Co, MO Census for 1860 (you cited) lists middle name as "Wm" (William)..I believe this same one died in Johnson Co, MO--February 09, 1922..Death Cert. online..1910 Johnson Co, MO census listed him in CA army..Hope it helps to sort it out..
