I am trying to find information about my great great grandfather, Jacob Rau, whom, I believe served as a private in a Missouri regiment in the Civil War under Brig. Gen. McCormick. He was either in the 8th Prov. Regiment Enrolled Missouri Militia or Co. B, 56th Regiment E. of the Missouri Militia. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
