Franklin Collins also married another Collins, Rebecca, daughter of Solomon Collins. Rebecca was a sister to my gggrandfather George Collins. I do have a copy of the old roster list as well as an account of a skirmish in which they were surprised by Confederate forces on November 3, 1864 at Vera Cruz, Missouri. Franklin's brother-in-law Spencer was one of 6 men killed during that encounter.
