Very Interesting talk. I was not familiar with your Hill but it makes me wonder. Near my home is a small community named "Hill Town". Local legend has it that Jesse and Frank lived in a cabin there after the Civil War. On the Arkansas side of the line only a mile away were the homesteads of several former confederate quarter-master veterans who served Waitie and Quantrill when they were in the Boggy Depot, Indian Terr.-Sherman, Texas area in the last couple of years of the Civil War. Maybe there was a reason for all of this if the Hills of Hill Town and your Hill are also related or connected.
