Re: John Hutchison, Mo.46 Inf.Co.I

Yes! A few minutes after I got off the computer, I remembered that My aunts name was Gertie, and the Chandler was Lon. And I remembered the name Colleen. We used to go to their house, and she and I played together. We were about the same age. I'm sorry to hear they have passed on. My mother was Dora Hutchison Webster McCullough. There were other sisters-Aunt Cora, Aunt Doshia, and some uncles, whose name I can't recall.
Grandpa lived with us in Stroud in the early 40's. He used to walk downtown to the local drug store every day to get the papaer. I had a dog named "Butch" that would go with him always. Grandpa couldn't see the fine print, but he'd read the headlines and when he found an article he was interested in, he'd get my dad or mom to read it to him. I imagine I am one of the last of Johns grandkids still around. That's because I was born when Mom was 47 years old. It's like I am of the next generation. Most all of my first cousins were 30 to 30 years older than me. Example is Lon-he was my first cousin. This is all very interesting to me to connect with Mom's family.
