Hello Robert. My gggrandfather fought with Shelby and followed him to Mexico after the war. In 1868 he loaded up his family and travelled by covered wagon from Mexico City to Waco, Texas where he settled. I would love to have a photo of the flag and would be forever grateful if you would send it. I have a family narrative describing their life in Mexico if you would be interested.
