Without a lengthy discussion to your question the answer is yes. There were prisoners executed during the Price Raid. Both Hinton and Jenkins mention the execution of Bushwhackers which was an easy term to apply to any man caught by the Union side, given the condition and dress of such men at the time. Buth the same applies to the southern side. A number of men conscripted attempted to desert, were caught and summarily executed. At least that is what some of the area newspapers have claimed. The search is ongoing to verify these claims. Finding the Provo records is the answer as they are the ones who were charged to carry out these duties.
