I keep seeing the term "Deserted at xxx date at Elkhorn N.T." Usually associated with the Enrolled Missouri Militia's.
Is this Elkhorn, Nebraska Territory or, is the Elkhorn Tavern/Pea Ridge? I am not familiar with Civil War activities in Nebraska Territory. Thanks for an explanation.
