3rd MO Cav. - location ~ Nov. 15, 1864....??

Hi George -

thanks for your posting. It seems that unless I can stumble across some documentation mentioning Alfred L. Simmons by name I will most likely never really locate him and determine what may have transpired during his service with the 3rd Missouri Cavalry.

Wonder if there are any casualty lists for Westport or Mine Creek in any county historical societies in Kansas or Missouri somewhere...?????
