Judy-- The following appears at p. 43 of J.E. Ford's "History of Moniteau County": Company K, Cole County Home Guards, was organized at High Point, and mustered in July 31, 1861, with Andrew J. Hart, captain, vice, J. B. Calhoun; Thomas. J. Hart, first lieutenant, vice, Andrew J. Hart, promoted; Samuel B. Richardson, second lieutenant; vice, Thomas J. Hart; Jonathan Gill, George W. Miller and William Clark, sergeants; Ransom Pountain, Robert W. Bruce, Henry G. Simmons and J. W. Blankenship, corporals. The private troops were J. Erickson, John Blankenship, Thomas Brown, John Burgi, William Burkhardt, P. T. Calbert, Alexander Davis, James C. and Rueben Dutcher, J. M. Fitzhugh, William Francis, H. H. and C. C. Gresham, Cyrus Hayes,Arnold Hollen, William Hardy, Michael Hoover, William A. George, E. G. Jackson, J. J. Larimore, W. L. Miller, Jerry Moser, E. Mason, C. Merritt, G. H. Pountain, H. S. Parks,D.
