Leach-Crites Bushwackings

I am very interested in information about the bushwacking of the Leach boys (George Maxwell, James C. and Levi Leach and their brother-in-law Solomon Crites)of Wayne County. I am related to James C. Leach. I have a copy of a family history story by a Magruder family. I've not been very successful in finding out much about it other than the family history. I tried to search this board but didn't have a lot of luck. I got little hints of info but could not track them down. There was a hint of a bushwacker named Turner in the Wayne County area. Also a message about Capt. (?) Leeper being in on it, but couldn't get back to the message that mentioned it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gloria
