My mother grew up around old Greenville, and I asked her about these graves and she had no information about them. Do you know if they were a 20th century discovery, through road construction or some other excavation, or did the marker look as if it were from the 19th century. She was trying to place its location, she knew of a soldiers grave along hwy 67 south of Greenville, found during road construction.
