David K. Noss

Can someone help me with info: My gg-grandfather, David K. Noss, born 1833 in Beaver Co., PA, & wife, Sarah M. Cowfer, also born in Beaver Co and children, moved to Houston, Richwoods Twp., Miller County, Missouri in 1859. David enrolled in Co. D, 6th. Regt. Missouri Cav. as a Private on 19 Feb. 1862. He was granted a furlough to go home to Houston because of sickness and died suddenly on 3 August 1862. At the time of his death, his rank was 1st. Sargt.Question: where can I search to find place of burial for David? Would he have been granted a military burial as he was still enlisted at time of his death? Family records indicate that Sarah and children returned to Beaver Co. after his death, however, no indication of what happened to or where his burial took place. Many Thanks if anyone can shed some light on this.
