We have Golden's in our family that were from Missouri but settled in Chicago. My grandmother was Genevieve Golden her parents were: Thomas Wallace Golden (b 08 oct 1868 - died 13 aug, 1942) and Mary Jane Kelty (12 Sep, 1868, MO - died 27 JAN 1937) Married Nov. 23, 1892 in Chicago. Mary jane was his 2nd wife - his 1st wife was Jenny.
The first in the US family was Patrick F Golden born in Scotland in 1843 - his residence in 1880 was 1515 Morgan, MO and he had 5 sons: Francis X (b- July 1861), William (b - Dec. 1872), John (b- 1874) and Samuel (b 1875) and Thomas Wallace (my great-grandfather)

I believe Francis X married a Mary Schultz and had 2 sons (Walter and Howard).

I believe the family relocated in Illinois.
