Truthfully, this was the first family I can recall that announced it had Indian blood.
Now of course they had come from north Georgia and Mary Rodgers Adams was supposedly
only half Cherokee. I really think there was more Indian blood than these people admitted
because they are still having olive skinned, brown eyed babies with super dark hair.
I had someone tell me once that Rodgers was a name that the Cherokee used to pass as
White. Whatever the heritage is, it is. I have no problem with it.
I am one of those people who is simply interested in the truth.
However, I look just like the former CSA soldier who was a fair skinned Irishman.
