Linda, I'm confused about your Adams family. You say that William Adams and Mary Rogers married in Cedartown, Georgia, which is in Polk County. On Ancestry.com, in a Georgia Marriages database, I find the marriage of two people with these names, on 10 Dec 1844, but it's in Elbert County, clear across the state from Polk County. I apologize for this statement being a bit off the topic of this list, but if you want to trace these people this may help. Pat
