Gay, this is great stuff. I'm not sure if anyone had ever been able to come up with an image of him, until now. The articles mention that Dorsey and Newcomer had served in the war together. Anybody know anything about Newcomer? I had already been aware of the mining partnership between Dorsey and Newcomer--Dorsey's family sued Newcomer in 1898, but there was no mention of the shooting in the court case.
