Thanks for the input. I am sorry I am so late with a reply. Just returned from vacation. I hope I can prove your death date on Abisha. I believe you may be right. I wish I could prove Julia is his daughter. If I could find out who B.M. Esarey is and how Julia is related to that family in the Iowa 1860 census, I may be able to draw a few conclusions. Julia was born in 1853 in Perry Co. IN. She doesn't show up in the 1850 census due to late birth. By 1860 her mother Elizabeth Frakes had died. If Julia was of the Abisha/Elizabeth union, it looks like all those children were farmed out as they no longer appear in the 1860 Indiana census. I have to look harder at this. The other children may appear in the census with other relatives. Maybe the wife of B.M. Esarey in the 1860 census of Iowa is a relative,i.e. sister. Thanks again for your help-
