What actually happend at Morristown, Sept 17, 1861

A recent document surfaced that listed casualties of Rains command at the time of the fight at Morristown, September 17, 1861, while the seige of Lexington was in progress. The names that are listed state that they were killed after capture. The only report I know of is in the OR, written by James H. Lane, who apparently was not there. The report, Vol. III, pg. 196 states seven Rebels killed while capturing the camp with their equipment. Lane States that Union Col H. P. Johnson was killed from ambush. Too many inconsistencies in the report. So the question beofore us: what did happen at Morristown?
