Re: Dunklin County, MO-April 16, 1863 Skirmish?

I came across a mention of 3 soldiers of the 2nd MSM Cav that were buried at the location specified and two of them had a death date of April 16, 1863, one not given. As at least two of three died on the same date, I assumed that there was some sort of engagement they were in and I was trying to pinpoint more information and maybe be able to identify the soldiers. The next time I go to the State Archives, I might scan through the original muster rolls of the 2nd MSM Cav and see what casualties are listed. You giving me the movements of Companies I and K will be a starting place.

Are the Event Records anywhere online? The nearest library to me with the books is over an hour travel time.
