There was a steamboat that sank in the big mo just east of blair ne. i dont know the name but they dug it up and have all of the things they found at desoto national wildlife refuge on exibit. i havnt been there to see for my self but have been told most of the items were from the civil war era, i think somebody told me at was a supply ship.
