Thanks so much gentlemen for those who have helped me track all this different info down.......I'm convinced that after taking his oath, he honored it and saw no futher service for either side.........G.P. Allen in the 15th Mo Cav is a different man.........Now I going try and figure out what MSG unit he could have been in..........thanks again Neil
