I would suggest that you purchase a copy of Jim McGhee's "Guide to Confederate Missouri Units" (University of Arkansas Press, 2008). Jim has done a nice job of encapsulating the unit histories of all of the Confederate Missouri regiments, battalions, batteries, etc., including Pindall's MO SS Bttn.
