Thank you so much. Last time I went there (Abe's), all they had were new copies so I thought I had something very unique. I guess it isn't such a rare book after all so I don't have to feel guilty about having it in my collection. I'm still happy about the signed letter, and just that the letter in general that was passed between Caroline Abbot Stanley and Walter Williams. The letter is really cute and shows so much personality - especially where she calls her self a "dyed-in-the-wool Missourian" and the "wheedling" information parts. Thanks for the information. I guess I should have re-checked before I got desperate. Really sad that the older books aren't worth as much as the reprints. I prefer the history over the crisp white pages myself. M
