I have come across three men shot "while tring to escape" 7 or 8 miles SW of Macon, Missouri near McLeansville....This is my ground... never heard of it or this event. Bob Rucker, Jim Rucker & Noah Matlock captured in Hannibal ( maybe Alexandria???) Jailed in Macon shot being returned to Huntsville for trail. Trail would have been in Macon.......something wrong here........no date.........needle in a hay stack.........dig for me and see what you can find.........would like to know about their burial if it's out there.........good luck...Neil
