Thanks for responding to my post. I had previously reviewed the book you mention and could find no reference to the T.F. Potts account of the battle of Locust Grove mentioned in David's book (Clarkson's Battalion, CSA) on pages 70 and 71. I am trying to locate the original source for the Potts narrative.
