Folks, I'm up againest one here......Looking up men unit from one of my list of Missouri CS. In broadfoot I come across the unit:

Mead's Confederate Cav (NS) No State several men named Mead are listed in this unit and I don't find a officer amoung them

could this be a "national" Confederate States Unit ??? Any help? The CS I have is: Ned Douglas, attended Lexington reunion 1911
