Keith, Company G, 2nd Colorado Cavalry, and annotated by him. He has notes on pages correcting the text or adding his own experiences. The book is described as follows:

Hand-corrected copy by Colonel A.D. Keith, whose 2nd Colorado Calvary fought in the battles. Title p missing, rear cover loose, wear on corners, some foxing. Keith name and title on 3 initial blank pp.
