4 Kimberlins of the 12th MO Cavalry

R.S. Kimberlin wrote a 1923 letter to Frank Brame in which he spoke of Civil War era events.
.
Who was this Frank Brame? Was he in a Missouri military unit as well as in the Confederate Signal Corps?
.
See the "Clarendon Confederate Veterans' 1911 Reunion" photo on my web page:

A lady sent a "Kimberlin Confederate Reunion" photo taken by Mulkey Studio of Clarendon TX that was recently found in Mangum, Greer County OK. ..She said they think this is the photo referenced in a January 18, 1923 letter -- from R.S. Kimberlin of Clarendon TX to Frank Brame of Greenville TX -- published in a Donley County history ... probably DONLEY COUNTY: LAND O' PROMISES, (Wichita Falls TX: Nortex, 1975) by Virginia Browder.
