I am trying to confirm service of Balthasar Graef in Company B 1st Regiment Missouri Volunteers from January 31, 1861 to April 31, 1861. This is from the 1890 Veterans Schedule, but it gives little information other than this. He also served in Company B Regiment 3 Missouri Infantry from 26 September 1864 to ? Does anyone know where I can find further information on these units and/or the campaigns they were involved in, or how I can find further information on Balthasar Graef?
