I have a Hasting John Smith who was born 1821 in Tennessee and lived in Barry County Missouri at the time of the war. Hasting and his son Thomas J. were said to have enlisted but I do not know which side they served. If someone has better resource than I do and finds him listed I would appreciate the info. The only internet I have is cell phone, and what I can access is limited. Thanks.
