Can you tell me how John Roan was related to Sam Hildebrand. It states he is his uncle. But I cannot find a link doing the family tree

John Roan is a great great great grandfather of my Husband.

I know it is the same John Roan because his wife Nancy Cash Roan Doggett says in her obit that her husband John L. Roan was killed by soldiers.
