Actually 2 new books

Yep, there is a book called Missouri's Alamo coming out next month, but there is a fanastic resource book for CW buffs that contains a lot of Missouri Democrat Articles out right now! Read below.

For Researchers and Civil War in the West Aficionados!

The Missouri Division of State Parks has published my book (which means I don't get any money for it) that transcribes Missouri Democrat Articles from Sept 14 1864 to Jan 15 1865, entitled "General Sterling Prices Great Missouri Raid: The Missouri Democrat Articles.

This has a lot of information on soldiers buried, soldiers captured, the Wilson hearings, provost marshal hearings, and the various battles of Prices Raid during this period of time. The good thing is that they published it both as a book (3 ring binder format) and as a CD or as a set. The CD is in easily searchable PDF format and contains an additional 88 pages of non-Missouri Democrat newspaper articles about the raid (in this case mostly about Pilot Knob). Both have 28 pages of pictures with the CD in digital format and reusable.

Right now it is only available through Fort Davidson State Historic Site. If anyone is interested they may write me at walt.busch@dnr.mo.gov or fort.davidson.state.historic.site@dnr.mo.gov and we can supply you the information on the pricing and shipping (also tax if you are in Missouri).
