Well, my silly method seemed to be the long way around, but I am glad to hear that it brought reached the correct answer. Even a blind mouse will occasionally find the cheese. I have used this method before, but it's strictly a last resort. I also supplement that method with the 1860 census, but I was short of time. Thanks for the feedback.

I have some photocopies of some pages from Fulton's Wayne County history, but I didn't think to look in there.
