Bruce, thank you for your post. The only information I have is that Hunter was invovled in a high stakes poker game with the Younger brothers and Bill Anderson near Silver Creek, Missouri. The first person account also said the the James boys were also at the table. If Jesse James was there then the time frame would narrow to Spring 1864, when he joined, to October of 1864 when he suffered a near fatal wound.
