Edward Capehart O'Kelley

I am a great-great niece of Edward Capehart O'Kelley, the murdered of Bob Ford. I have written a 119-page
biography about O'Kelley that is now in its fourth printing. The book attempts to sort through many of the untruths written about O'Kelley after the murder of Bob Ford on June 6, 1892, in Creede, Colorado. Don't get me wrong - this book does not attempt to paint a glorious picture of this nefarious scalawag in the O'Kelley closet; rather, the book describes his early life in southeast Missouri; the murder; his sentencing; and his ultimate death in the streets of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It also untangles such stories as his place of birth, a story about his mother being molested by the James Gang, and a host of other misinformation printed in newspapers after the murder.

In September,1995 my book was awarded the Milton Perry Best Book Award for 1994-95 at the James-Younger Gang annual conference in Lexington, Kentucky.

If you would be interested in purchasing a copy of this book, please send a check in the amount of $25.45 ($22.95 for the book and $2.50 for postage) to me at the following address. I make every effort to send out books as soon as possible after receipt of payment.

Thanks a bunch!!
